Noodverlichtingsarmaturen
Noodverlichting is verplicht in gebouwen waar gewerkt wordt of meer dan 75 mensen aanwezig zijn, om te voorkomen dat vluchtwegen of nooduitgangen slecht zichtbaar zijn als de stroom uitvalt. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld gebeuren in geval van een grote brand. Noodverlichting heeft namelijk twee doelen. Ten eerste helpt noodverlichting de vluchtroute te verlichten, waardoor deze als de stroom uitvalt ook goed begaanbaar is. Ten tweede helpen de pictogrammen op de noodverlichting met de weg naar de nooduitgang te wijzen.
Bij Elektrototaalmarkt onderscheiden wij twee soorten noodverlichtingsarmaturen. Ten eerste zijn er lampen die op een centrale batterij zijn aangesloten. De centrale batterij gaat lang mee en heeft lage onderhoudskosten, maar de aanschafkosten zijn hoger. De noodverlichtingsarmaturen met een centrale batterij, zoals die van de Lien Aqualux AQL 08 serie, worden vaak gebruikt in een grote kantoorgebouwen. Daarnaast zijn er ook nog lampen op een eigen individuele batterij. Bij decentrale noodverlichting heeft de noodlamp een accupack die aangaat al de stroom uitvalt.
